Colleen provided a highly engaging seminar on how nutrition impacts productivity and performance in the workplace. It was informative, interactive, fun and very relevant in the current environment. It was great working with Colleen; she portrays a high level of professionalism and sincerity, and we received great feedback from Paycare and their staff
I’ve known Colleen in her professional capacity since embarking on a weight loss programme a few years ago. She is my “go to” person for nutritional advice and support. Colleen is very knowledgeable in her field and her expertise has been valuable at the times in my life when I’ve needed additional support and guidance; she guided me through these times in a professional but kind, friendly and approachable manner.
The feedback I received from the Steeplehouse Lodge development was very complimentary. The event was reported to have a great “feel-good-factor”. The residents really enjoyed the event and found it very informative.
As a vegetarian I was concerned about whether my body was getting the nutrition I needed. I met Colleen whilst ice skating and when I found out she was a nutritionist I decided to book a consultation. Colleen talked me through the good points about my diet and then focussed specifically on where I could make improvements to ensure I wasn’t missing out on any nutrients. I was relieved to know I wouldn’t have to take a batch of vitamin supplements. She introduced me to foods I hadn’t even considered and now my diet is more varied and enjoyable.
As a teacher and workshop leader, Colleen’s consistent approach to high standards ensured that all pupils were always challenged to do well and were clear about their objectives. Colleen’s lessons and workshops are always well structured and organised and she accounts for the need to engage all students in their learning. Colleen is an outstanding role model to both pupils and staff.
My GP advised me that my cholesterol was a little on the high side and suggested I start eating properly. I had no idea what that meant and came across Colleen via an internet search. I booked a one hour consultation where she talked me through all the foods that were proven to help lower cholesterol and the additional lifestyle changes I needed to make to help control my weight. She was a true professional with a friendly and approachable manner. I also bought the food hamper to get me started which included a variety of foods for me to try. 6 weeks later I went back to my GP who told me my cholesterol had reduced and to keep doing what I was doing - I was very relieved and thankful!
I was one of NutriShion’s first food shopping tours clients. It was a joy to actually know and understand what I was putting into my basket and see that it was little changes I had to make to improve my family’s diet. Colleen was empathetic whilst injecting lots of fun into the shopping trip. I might take advantage of her personal styling shopping trips too! I must admit, I’m a little obsessed with food labels now, but I guess that’s not a bad thing.
